Southern Utah University Athletics

Following a successful playing career at both Frostburg State and Southern Utah, Zach Strand joined the Football staff as part of the strength and conditioning staff in 2023. Throughout a successful season where the Thunderbirds went 6-5 overall and 4-2 in the United Athletic Conference Strand helped to motivate players to progress in the weight room and on the field. During the offseason Strand was promoted to the Head of Football Strenght and Conditioning where he will continue to build up the program through his efforts with individuals as well as the team as a whole.
