Biography

At SUU, 2012: Appeared in and started nine games at left tackle, earned honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference honors.

At SUU, 2011: Appeared in nine games with one start. 

At SUU, 2010: Sat out fall semester but returned to school and participated in spring ball.

At SUU, 2009: Spent the season as a redshirt.

Personal: Was named Nevada’s lineman of the year his senior season, earned first-team all-state honors as both an offensive and defensive lineman for Coach Richard Ottley at Lincoln County High. Helped the Lynx to a state championship as a sophomore. Also lettered in basketball, helping LCHS to a state champion his junior season. Also served as student body president, was a member of the honors society and earned the Shawn Davis Leadership Award. Parents are Kristi and Bruce Burgess. Majoring in biology.
