At SUU, 2010: Played in 10 games, finished the season second on the team in rushing and fifth in receiving. Carried 77 times for 420 yards and a touchdown, caught 11 passes for 90 yards. Averaged 5.5 yards per carry and 8.2 yards per reception. Best games were at Wyoming, where he carried 11 times for 64 yards and caught two passes for 14 more, and vs. South Dakota, when he carried seven times for 75 yards and caught two passes for 7 yards.
At SUU, 2009: Played in three games but saw his season cut short by injuries. Carried four times for minus-two yards, caught two passes for 16 yards.
At SUU, 2008: Started all 11 games, led team in rushing with 384 yards on 142 carries, also had a team-high two rushing touchdowns. Caught two passes for eight yards as well. Finished third on the team in all-purpose yards with 392. Rushed for a team season-high 114 yards at Texas State. Saw limited duty in spring game, picked up 25 yards on eight carries.
At Menlo College: Played one season at for Coach Mark Kaanapu at Menlo College, appeared in seven games with 29 carries for 99 yards to rank third on team in rushing yards. Also returned 11 kickoffs for 208 yards, an 18.9 ypr average, and caught three passes. Finished third on the squad in total yards and fifth in all-purpose yardage.
Personal: Prepped at Henry J. Kaiser High School, where he rushed for 1,053 yards and tallied 1,608 all-purpose yards his senior season when he scored 13 total touchdowns. Helped the Cats to three undefeated Sunkist League seasons and a pair of appearances in the CIF semi-finals. Earned first-team all-league recognition as both a running back and defensive back his senior season when he was named Offensive Back of the Year. Earned Ken Hubbs Award and Coca Cola Athlete of the Year recognition. Earned three letters in basketball, named first-team all-league his senior season after helping guide the Cats to the CIF championship game. Was an honor roll student and Kaiser HS’s male athlete of the year his senior season. Parents are Liza and Deckar Alexander. Is a nursing major.
