At SUU, 2009: Appeared in 10 games at safety, nickleback and on special teams, tallied 11 tackles (six solo) and forced a fumble. Also returned three kickoffs a total of 52 yards with a long return of 18 yards.
At SUU, 2008: Ranked fourth on the team with 61 tackles last year when he had 37 solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss and a half-sack. Intercepted a pass vs. Northern Arizona and returned it 57 yards, also broke up one pass, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and blocked a kick.
At SUU, 2007: Earned a spot on the traveling squad but did not record a tackle.
At SUU, 2006: Joined the Thunderbirds in the fall and tallied a tackle in the season-opener before opting to spend the season as a redshirt.
Personal: Prepped at Linclon County HS where he earned all-state MVP honors and all-Southern League MVP recognition as a linebacker his senior season. Tallied 532 tackles with 32 sacks and eight interceptions during his high school career, also rushed for over 5,000 yards. Helped his team to state titles as a sophomore and as a senior. Also lettered in basketball and baseball, earning all-conference recognition in both. Parents are Sylvia and Dave Lucchesi. Majoring in physical education.
