At SUU, 2010: Appeared in all 11 games as a reserve linebacker and was also a special teams standout. Tallied 20 tackles, with 11 solo stops, forced a fumble and had one tackle-for-loss.
At SUU, 2009: Started all 11 games and finished sixth on the team in tackles, secvond among linebackers, with 60, including 32 solo stops, 3.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks. Also intecepted a pass, broke up two more, forced a pair of fumbles and had a quarterback hurry. Had nine tackles against both North Dakota and UC Davis, eight at South Dakota.
At SUU, 2008: Squad member. Had an interception and racked up eight tackles, including six solo stops and two sacks in the 2009 Red/White spring game.
At SUU, 2005: Spent the season as a redshirt before departing for an LDS church mission to Warsaw, Poland.
Personal: Prepped at Roy High School, where he earned three letters and was awarded first-team all-state and all-region honors following his senior season playing for coach Brian Berrong. Also lettered twice in basketball and three years in track & field. Wife is the former Cydney Birtagnolli, parents are Laura and Tim Willard. Is undecided upon a major course of study.
