Moved to linebacker in the spring after playing fullback last season but will move back to fullback this fall. Carried 19 times for 113 yards and pulled in seven passes for 48 more playing primarily at blocking back last year, was also a special teams standout, tallying seven tackles.

@%& Personal: Transfer from Snow College, where he was a two-year starter. Graduate of Timpview High School, where he earned all-region and all-state honors as well as earning his team’s defensive MVP award his senior season after tallying 132 tackles with six sacks and a pair of interceptions in helping the Thunderbirds to a region championship and a Utah 4A runner-up finish. Also served as a team captain. Lettered in wrestling, swimming and rugby as well, serving as rugby captain and earning team’s MVP honors. Born 12-6-78 in Kahuku, Hawaii. Served an LDS church mission to New York City. Wife is Viola, has a son Laveatu’u. Parents are Mele and Malakai. Majoring in English.
