At Harbor College: Lettered two years for Coach Brent Peabody's Seahawks. Tallied 70 tackles last year, second on the squad, including 10 tackles for loss and five sacks. Also picked off two passes, broke up two more and was credited with five quarterback hurries in 2011 when he returned an interception for a touchdown. Tallied 24 tackles, 18 solo, as a freshman when he also had five TFLs, an interception, a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery, which he returned 30 yards for a touchdown.

Personal: Prepped at Banning High School in Wilmington, Calif., where he played on both sides of the ball for Coach Chris Ferrigams, tallying 87 tackles with three sacks and three interceptoins and carrying for 987 yards his senior season when he was named his team's MVP and the Marine League defensive MVP. Also lettered in volleyball at BHS. Mother is Christina Bird. Is undecided upon a major course of study.
