At SUU, 2010: Appeared in all 11 games with one start at wide receiver. Caught 11 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Had team’s long TD catch of the season, a 70-yarder at Texas State. Also returned one punt 15 yards and one kickoff two yards.
At SUU, 2009: Led the team in kickoff returns with 29 for 569 yards, yardage total is 10th-best in SUU history. Also finished fourth on the team in receptions and receiving yards with 26 catches for 239 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Had five catches for 66 yards and a touchdown against Dixie State, his other score came on his only grab at Cal Poly.
At SUU, 2008: Finished third on the team with 27 receptions and tallied 298 yards with three touchdowns receiving last year when he played receiver, running back and quarterback. Carried five times for eight yards and another score.
At SUU, 2004: Spent season as a redshirt prior to serving an LDS chruch mission to Provo, Utah.
Personal: Prepped at Kealakehe High School in Kailua, Kona, Hawaii, where he tallied over 1,500 utility yards as a senior for Coach Sam Papali’i’s Waveriders. Also lettered in basketball and track & field at KHS. Parents are Lauri and Larrio Ursua. Is majoring in physical education and human performance.
