Biography

At SUU, 2007: Appeared in all 11 games as a reserve offensive lineman, lined up everywhere but center. At SUU, 2006: Moved to offensive line and wound up playing in all 11 games, backing up at both guard positions. At SUU, 2005: Tallied four tackles, three solo, last year when he appeared in eight games as a reserve defensive end. Also returned one kickoff nine yards. At SUU, 2004: Spent the season as a redshirt.
Personal: Earned all-region honors as a senior at Cedar City’s Canyon View HS, where he was a three-year letterman. Also lettered in baseball. Parents are Diane and Kit Janes. Kit, an all-American tight end for the Thunderbirds in 1978, is currently a member of SUU’s women’s basketball staff. Is majoring in forensic science.
