Started nine games at nose tackle (lost two to injury) and finished second among linemen and tops among interior linemen last year with 33 tackles, including four TFLs and 2.5 sacks, also broke up a pair of passes. Played offensive guard and on special teams in 2002, made the switch to defense during the spring. Spent 2001 season as a redshirt. Transfer from Idaho State University where he earned one letter before departing on an LDS church mission to Houston, Texas.

@%& Personal: Was an all-state selection his senior season and a two-time all-region performer on the offensive and defensive lines at Cedar High School, helping the Redmen to a perfect region season as a senior. Born 12-15-79 in Cedar City. Parents are Julie and Richard Spevak and Doni and Shelley Taylor. Majoring in construction management.
