At SUU, 2011: Was a special teams standout for the Thunderbirds, playing in all 11 games and tallying 13 tackles, eight solo.

At SUU, 2010: Walked on and earned a spot on the roster, participated on special teams.

Personal: Graduate of Utah's Delta High School, where he helped Coach Dean Fowles Rabbits to a pair of region championships playing llinebacker and running back. Earned all-region and all-state honors as a linebacker and was tabbed Region 8 defensive MVP following his senior season when he had 80 tackles with 12 sacks and a pair of interceptions. He also broke up five passes and on the offensive side of the ball he rushed for over 1,000 yards. Lettered in wrestling and track & field as well, winning a pair of region wrestling titles and placing third at state three times, also placed sixth in the discus at the state championships. Parents are Gordon and Mickie Rawlinson. Served an LDS church mission ot Rapid City, S.D. Is majoring in biology. Is also on active duty as a member of the Utah National Guard.
