2012 | Freshman Season

• Joined the team in spring semester 2012, participated in spring drills
• Phil Steele 2012 Pre-season Top College Freshmen List
• Won the "Robert Takeno Strength and Conditioning Award"
• Recipient of "Dr. Osborne Endowment"
• 122/122 perfect snaps (67 punts, 33 PAT's, 22 field goals)

  • #2 Field goal unit
  • #3 Punt unit
• Snapped the game winning field goal against #1 Eastern Washington
• Participated in the Gary Zauner's College Specialist Senior Combine
  • Ranked as the #3 longsnapper at the combine

Personal: 

• Graduate of Pine View High School where he earned three letters for former SUU standout Ray Hosner
• Earned all-American, all-West, all-state and all-region honors as a long-snapper, was ranked as the 11^th-best overall player coming out of a Utah high school in 2012. Also earned distinction as the No. 4 long-snapper in the country and ranked in ESPN Top 300
• Parents are Elise and Kevin Donovan
• His father, Kevin Donovan was a letterman on SUU's baseball team
• Kolton is a double major in Exercise Science and Psychology
• Served an LDS Mission to San Antonio, Texas 
• Loves to travel, spend time with family and play pickleball
