Personal: Preppead at Murray High School, where he was a two-time all-region performer and an all-state honoree his senior season. Helped his team to a region title his junior year. Also lettered in wrestling and was a member of the rugby team at MHS. Member of the National Honor Society. Spent last year at Utah, where he redshirted. parents are Katie and Tupou Katoa. Plans to major in economics.
