Earned second-team I-AA all-Independent honors last year after leading SUU’s defensive linemen with 48 tackles (23 solo), with five TFLs for minus-19 yards and 3.0 sacks for minus-13 yards. He also broke up three passes, forced three fumbles, recovered a fumble and had a quarterback hurry last season. Started nine games at end in 2002 (missed two with injury), finished season tied for second on team in tackles-for-loss with seven and sacks with two; tallied 18 tackles, also broke up a pass and recovered a fumble in 2002. Played in all 11 games as a true freshman in 2001, finished the season with six tackles, two solo, with one tackle-for-loss.

@%& Personal: Earned all-state honors on a division championship team at Kahuku HS in Kahuku, Hawaii, also lettered in basketball and team handball. Born 9-24-79 in Seattle, Wash. Wife is Whitney. Parents are Colinda and Molia. Majoring in sociology.
