• As a junior, earned 1st Team All-Area, 2nd Team All-State Deseret News, 2nd Team All-State Salt Lake Tribune, and team's defensive MVP honors
• Was a 1st Team All-Area, and 2nd Team Deseret News selection as well as an academic All-State selection his senior year
• During his junior campaign, he had 2 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries, 3 sacks and 116 tackles which led the 2A division and ranked #20 in state
• Led team to their best start in school history his junior year 
• Was on the high honor roll
• Was invited to and attend an annual leadership camp (Camp U Leadership)
