Prior To SUU: Played one season at Dixie State College before serving an LDS church mission to Boston, Mass. ... helped the Rebels to a 9-3 overall mark and a Rotary Bowl appearance.

Personal: Graduate of Pine View HS in nearby St. George, Utah, where he played two seasons, helping former T-Bird Ray Hosner’s Panthers to a pair of region titles and a state runner-up finish ... earned all-state and all-region honors, was named PHS’s outstanding offensive lineman ... also prepped at Las Vegas Shadow Ridge and Centennial High Schools ... earned letters in wrestling and track & field in addition to football. Parents are Lori and Bob Egbert. Is undecided upon a major course of study.
