Biography

At SUU, 2010: Played in all 11 games with seven starts at cornerback, tallied 27 tackles (22 solo), sixth among returning players, also broke up four passes and had a sack.

At SUU, 2009: Appeared in nine games at cornerback, tallied 19 tackles, including 14 solo tackles. Best game was against Texas State, when he had a career-best seven tackles.

At SUU, 2008: Spent the season as a redshirt. Tallied one tackle in the 2009 spring game.

Personal: Prepped at Littlerock (Calif.) High School where he earned second-team all-league recognition playing for coach James Vandra’s Lobos. Had 380 receiving yards and tallied 38 tackles his senior season when he also earned honorable mention honors in basketball. Parents are Maria and Mark Hogains. Is majoring in communications.
