Biography

Personal: Earned first-team all-league and all-county honors last year as a defensive end for Coach Ben White at Exeter Union HS. Tallied 79 tackles with eight sacks, five passes broken up, four fumbles forced and two recovered in 2008 when he was a team captain. Helped lead the Monarchs to a 9-2 overall record, with the second loss coming in the Valley quarterfinals. Best game was against Coalinga when he had eight solo tackles, two sacks and forced a fumble. Also earned three letters in track & field. Was the athletics department’s representative on student council, a member of FCA. Parents are Sandi Bennett and Jeff Houk. Plans to major in pre-medicine.
