Biography

At SUU, 2007: Sat out with an injury. At SUU, 2006: Appeared in all 11 games as a reserve safety and on special teams, tallied a pair of tackles and broke up a pass. At SUU, 2005: Squad member. At SUU, 2004: Spent the season as a redshirt.
Personal: Earned second-team all-state and first-team all-federation honors as a quarterback following his senior season at Kealakehe High School after helping the Wave Riders to their second consecutive regular-season championship. Was named Player of the Month for November in 2003 as well. Was second-team all-BIIF as a junior. Also earned one second- and one first-team all-BIIF honor for basketball during his high school career. Parents are Teresa and Michael Kaniho. Majoring in physical education with a health minor.
