A 2003 third-team all-American and 2004 pre-season second team selection by the SportsNetwork after leading the team in tackles last year with 133, including 13 tackles for loss and two sacks. Had two interceptions, recovered three fumbles, forced three fumbles, broke up three passes and scored a touchdown on an interception return.

@%& Personal: Transfer to SUU from Brigham Young University, where he earned two letters playing linebacker. Graduate of Taft HS in Woodland Hills, Calif., where he was named LA City Player of the Year as well as the Los Angeles Times Player of the Year as a quarterback following his senior season. He passed for 31 touchdowns and rushed for 19 more during his career at THS. Also lettered in track & field.Born 12-14-78 in Canoga Park, Calif. Wife is Melissa, parents are LInda and Nick. Served an LDS church mission to the Philippines. Holds a degree in exercise science from BYU, is working toward his MBA at SUU.
