At SUU, 2008: Sat out after suffering a season-ending injury during camp. Carried three times for six yards in the spring game.

At SUU, 2007: Moved from quarterback to wide receiver, caught three passes for 37 yards. Named the SUU Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Academic all-GWC.

At SUU, 2006: Served as the No. 2 quarterback. Saw action in two games, completing 4-of-6 passes for 34 yards and carrying nine tmes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Earned academic all-Great West Football Conference recognition. At SUU, 2005: Spent the season as a redshirt.

Personal: Earned first-team all-Southern Nevada and Nevada all-state honors after passing for 1,835 yards as a senior at Eldorado HS where he was also an outstanding track & field athlete. Passed for over 4,400 yards in his high school career, playing for former SUU all-American Dave Castro. Was a second-team all-conference performer as a junior and earned academic all-state honors as a junior and senior. Was his class Valedictorian and served as senior class president. Parents are Lynne and Gary Godfrey. Is majoring in biology/zoology.
