Biography

At SUU, 2007: Joined the Thunderbirds in time for spring 2007 workouts but suffered an injury in fall workouts and wound up spending the season as a redshirt.
At Bakersfield College: Helped his team to 7-4 and 9-3 records and a berth in the Southern California semi-finals his sophomore season.
Personal: Earned all-area and all-league recognition at Stockdale High School in Bakersfield, Calif., where he helped his team to a Valley championship and a state semi-final appearance. Also lettered in track & field. Parents are Teresa and Jeff Giannelli. Is majoring in criminal justice.
