Biography

 

At SUU, 2011: Played in all 11 games, started the last seven. Started five games at center and two at guard.

 

At SUU, 2010: Played in all 11 games as a reserve offensive lineman, appearing at both guard and center. Earned academic all-Great West Conference honors.

At SUU, 2009: Started the season as a reserve, became a starter after Joe Ellis went down with an injury against Texas State and wound up starting five games at right guard.

Personal: Graduate of Manti HS, where he was an all-state and all-region performer his senior season for Coach Cole Meacham. Played on both the offensive and defensive lines and helped team to a state championship as a junior. Also lettered in wrestling, track and tennis at MHS and was an academic all-stater in wrestling. Member of the National Honor Society, carried a cumulative 3.90 GPA through high school. Parents are Janice and Jim Petersen. Is undecided upon a major course of study.
