A two-time I-AA all-Independent selection at safety, has finished second among Thunderbirds in tackles two straight seasons. Finished the 2003 campaign with 100 tackles (51 solo), along with two TFLs, four PBUs, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Tallied 61 tackles (33 solo) in 2002 after starting the season third on the depth chart at free safety but making the most of his opportunities when teammates went down with injuries and moving into the starting lineup at both strong and free safety. Was named I-AA Independent Player of the Week after tallying 21 tackles (12 solo) at Arkansas State. Spent 2000 season as a redshirt prior.

@%& Personal: Was an all-state and all-region performer at Highland High School where he played corner and slot and helped his team to an undefeated region campaign his senior year. Born 3-17-81 in Salt Lake City. Wife is Jamie, parents are Becky and Blaine. Served an LDS church mission to Frankfurt, Germany. Majoring in communication.
