At SUU, 2009: Appeared in 10 games as a reserved defensive end and on special teams, tallied nine tackles, five solo, with 1.5 tackles-for-loss, a half-sack and one QB hurry.

Prior to SUU: Helped Snow College to an 11-1 record and an appearance in the NJCAA National Championship game last year when he finished with 43 tackles, 17 quarterback hurries, 12 tackles for loss and seven sacks. Also forced a pair of fumbles, recovered another and picked off a pass for Coach Steve Coburn’s Badgers in 2008. Spent one season at Dixie State College before serving an LDS church mission to Seattle, Washington.

Personal: Prepped at Orem High School where he earned first-team all-region, first-team all-valley and second-team all-state honors following his senior season. Tallied 26 sacks during his high school career. Also lettered in baseball, earning first-team all region and second-team all-state recognition as a senior, as well as all-region honors as a sophomore and junior. Wife is Kailey, parents are Patty and Dave. His brother, Travis, is also joining the Thunderbirds this season. Plans to major in business.
