At SUU: Joined the Thunderbirds for spring 2007 workouts.

Prior to SUU: Spent a season at Arizona Western and another at Northern Arizona. Tallied 40 tackles with two sacks and five passes broken up last year at AWC.

Personal: Prepped at Tucson’s Sunnyside HS where he helped team to a pair of state championships as well as four region titles. Earned all-state, all-conference and all-city honors. Also lettered in track & field at SHS. Parents are Donna and Raul Samorano. Majoring in accounting.
