Lamar joins SUU from Western Illinois where he recently graduated and played his final year of collegiate basketball. 

Prior to Western Illinois, Lamar attended the prestigious Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He won four straight state championships and competed in the GEICO National Tournament. 

Lamar joined the Men's Basketball staff as a graduate assistant and has worked his way up to the Special Assistant to the Head Coach. While at SUU he will pursuing his Masters Degree in Professional Communication.

Lamar has an older brother, Christian, who is currently in Reno, Nevada as well as his mom and dad, Julie and Luis, who live in Las Vegas.
