At Snow College: Earned all-conference recognition last year after helping the Badgers to a Scenic West Athletic Conference championship. Led the league in field goal percentage at .692 and was 17th in the league (and second on the team) in scoring at 10.3 ppg. Also averaged 4.7 rebounds and was second on the squad in assists at 3.1 per game, a figure which ranked 12th in the SWAC. Averaged 5.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game as a freshman when he shot .520 from the floor.

At Duchesne High School: Was a two-time first-team all-state selection for coach Stan Young, helped his team to a region championship. Averaged 21.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as a senior when he also dished out nearly four assists and picked off a pair of steals per game. Also lettered in baseball, football, track and cross country, and helped the team to a state cross country title.

Coach Reid On Cris: “Cris played four-man for us at Snow but he can also play the three. He’s undersized for an inside player but he has great basketball savvy both on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. He’s a student of the rules of offense and defense and that allows him to play bigger than he is. He always puts himself in a position to be productive. He’s good around the basket, he’s fundamentally sound and he’s got toughness.”
