Biography

At Sir Winston Churchill High School: Dallin's highs chool teams recorded a 95-5  record over three years. He helped lead Coach Mike Fullerton's Bulldogs to two consecutive top-tier Calgary City Championships and two births to the Provincial final fours, earning a Bronze medal in his senior year.  Averaged 22.3 points, 14.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 4.1 blocks per game as a senior. A perennial tournament all-star, Dallin saved his best high school performance for his senior year city final where he tallied 34 points, 22 rebounds, 11 assists, 6 blocks and 3 steals.

Competed for Silver Medalist Team Alberta in the 2008 Canadian 17-Under Championships. In 2009, Dallin was one of 20 players in Canada to be invited to the All-Canada Classic where the coaches awarded him the Top Post Player in Canada 2009 award.  Coming out of high school, he was ranked nationally as one of the top high school centers available for the 2009 graduating class.

ESPN had this to say about Dallin: “This Canadian import is a big time rebounder and overall low post presence. He has the ability to be a double double machine. His jumpshot is solid out to 15 feet and his skills are strong. He definitely needs to add some strength to bang with the big boys at the D-I level. Defensively, he alters shots for a living on the blocks. His size should make him an immediate impact player at Southern Utah.”

Coach Reid On Dallin: “We’re really excited to have a young man of Dallin’s stature here at Southern Utah. For a big guy Dallin has a good shooting touch, and for a big guy he has some range. For a freshman he has outstanding skills. He has good athletic ability and strength for a big guy. The thing about him, as a freshman, is that confidence, maturity and learning the offense will be critical. He’ll get a lot of playing time. He can play the five and he can play the four position. He gives us another player we can build with and gives us a great foundation for the future.”
