Biography

2006-07 Highlights: Started 20 games, including five of the last six. Missed two games with back spasms. Hit 41-of-61 field goal attempts (67.2 percent) in his last 12 regular-season games. When all regular-season games are considered he led the Mid-Con in field goal percentage (.635), was 20th in rebounding (3.9 rpg) and ninth in offensive rebounds (1.81 rpg). In Mid-Con games only he was second in field goal percentage (.646), and eighth in offensive rebounds (1.85 rpg). Co-led team with 10 points and had four boards at Western Illinois, also blocked a shot and had a steal. Was 4-for-4 from the floor (eight points), with five boards and a steal vs. Oakland. Hit 5-of-6 shots vs. IUPUI for 12 points. Came off the bench to score 15 points and pull down eight rebounds at Centenary,  his highest totals in a Mid-Con game. Had 11 points and five rebounds at home against UMKC; four boards were offensive to tie his best ORB total. Pulled down a career-high nine rebounds vs. Western State when he also scored 11 points. Had a season-best two assists vs. Texas A&MM International, with eight points, five boards and a block. Scored six points with a team-high six rebounds at Washington where he also had a block and a steal. Tied his career scoring high with 16 at Idaho (on 7-of-8 shooting), also had four rebounds and a steal. Scored 15 points with six rebounds and a block at Boise State. Scored 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting (6-of-8 FTs) at Denver where he also co-led team with six rebounds. Scored 13 points at Utah, hitting 5-of-5 field goals and 3-of-4 free throws, also had five rebounds.

At College of Eastern Utah:
Averaged 12.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game in 05-06 when he was named honorable mention all-SWAC. Led team in rebounding ? ranked third in the SWAC ? paced the team and the league with a .686 field goal percentage and blocked a team-high 45 shots. He also picked off 41 steals. Averaged 5.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game as a freshman. Best games were a 29-point, 13-rebound effort against Dixie State and a 19-point, 17-rebound outing against Southern Idaho.

At Altamont High School:
A two-time first-team all-state selection. Averaged 24 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks per game as a senior when he was named AHS Athlete of the year as well as earning the school’s basketball Player of the Year honor for the second straight season. Best game was a 38-point, 15-rebound outburst against South Summit when he hit all 17 of his shots from the field. Also lettered in track & field, earning all-state honors in both the high jump, where he finished second, and on the state champion 4x100 relay team. Served as student body vice president.
