• Qualified for the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash. in the 3k and 5k 
• Ranks fourth on the SUU all-time record list in the 3k with a time of 8:14.89* and fourth in the 5k with a time of 14:16.35

• Competed in five meets during the indoor season, racing in the mile, 3,000-meters and 5,000-meters
• Finished fourth in the 5,000-meters and fifth in the 3,000-meters at the Summit League Championship

2010 | Freshman Outdoor

• Competed in six meets during the outdoor season, racing in the 1,500-meters, 5,000-meters and 10,000-meters
• Took the individual title in the 10,000-meters and finished fourth in the 5,000-meters, earning all-Summit League honors and Newcomer of the Championship recognition

2009 | Freshman XC

• Finished 13th at the Summit League Championship, garnering second team all-Summit League honors

• Placed tenth at the NCAA D1 Mountain Regionals for the 10K with an average mile time of 4:52.0 and a final time of 30:14.45, a new personal best
• Placed 35th overall in the nation for his 10K run time of 30:22.8
• Finished second at the UC Riverside Invitational in the 8K with a time of 23:53.8, a new personal best
• Placed tenth in the 8K at the Roy Griak Invitational - Gold Division 
• Placed fifth in the 5-mile at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite with a time of 23:55.4

Prep:

• 2009 Utah state champion in the 3,200-meters and 1,600-meters
• Finished fifth at state in the 800-meters and seventh at the Utah state cross country championships

Personal:

• Parents are Andrew and Karen Hawks
• Majoring in business
• Only started running during his sophomore year of high school after playing baseball growing up
• Founder and Coach of the Youth Track and Field program, Cedar City Track Attack
• Served an LDS mission in Birmingham, Ala. (2010-12)
• Married SUU T&F athlete Ashley Gray in February, 2013
• Loves spending time outdoors with his wife
