Prep: Prepped at Del Notre HS, competing in cross country, 800-meters, mile and three-mile run ... recorded personal best times of 2:01 in the 800-meters, 4:31 in the mile and 15:33 in the three-mile run ... three-time cross country section qualifier, cross country state meet qualifier and two-time track section qualifier ... earned first team all-San Diego in cross country ... 2013 San Diego team champions and two-time track league team champions ... lettered four times each in cross country and track.

Personal: Parents are Bill and Sue Brungard ... majoring in engineering.
