- Maintained a career-best 77.1 stroke average
- Low round of 71 in round two of the Utah Collegiate Shootout
- Finished at one-under-par in a tie for tenth at the Utah Collegiate shootout
- Made a hole-in-one in round two of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic
2023
In his junior season, Barnes played in seven tournaments, with his best finish coming at the UNC Spring Invitational where he shot +14 and placed T38th. He closed the season with a 77.8 stroke average for 20 rounds, improving by two strokes.Â
2022
Barnes played in six tournaments for the Thunderbirds, finishing with a season-best T54 at the UC Santa Barbara Collegiate. He averaged 79.71 strokes per round, for 17 rounds.Â
