At SUU, 2007-08: Played the fall season with the Thunderbirds before leaving school to join the National Guard … finished fifth on the team in stroke average at 75.5 … best round was 68 at Air Force’s Agua Caliente Invitational where he also had his best finish, in 36th place.

At Beaver High School: Helped Coach Mark Yardley’s Beavers to a Utah 2A state championship as well as four straight region titles … was region medalist his senior season, when he also finished second at the state tourney … two-time first-team all-state performer … also lettered in baseball, track & field and basketball.

Personal: Southern Utah Amateur champion in 2009  … Canyon Breeze GC club champ in 2006, ’08 and ’09 … 2007 Monticello Hide  Out champion … born July 1, 1989 in Beaver, Utah ... parents are Shannon Stone and Rocky Stone ... undecided upon a major course of study.
