OUT 2011: Competed in eight meets during the outdoor season, competing in the javelin throw ... placed ninth in the javelin at the Summit League Championship ... garnered academic all-Summit League honors.  OUT 2010: Competed in six meets during the outdoor season ... placed third at the Summit League Outdoor Championship in the javelin (55.9m) helping the Thunderbirds to an overall third place finish ... named to the 2010 Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence for Track and Field ... named to the 2010 Summit League Academic all- League Team. OUT 2009:  Competed in two meets during the outdoor season ... scored points for the Thunderbirds at the outdoor conference championships with an eighth-place finish in the javelin.

Prep:  Earned letters in basketball, baseball, golf, track & field and cross country at Escalante HS ... garnered all-state citations in basketball, baseball and golf ... earned academic all-state honors during the cross country season.

Personal:  Parents are Jody and Kay Brooks ... served as the Student Body Secretary at EHS ... majoring in exercise science.
