OUT 2011: Competed in eight meets during the outdoor season, competing in the high jump and long jump ... tallied points for the Thunderbirds by finishing fifth in the high jump at the Summit League Championship ... finished first in the high jump at the UNLV Invite and in the long jump at the BYU Robison Invite.  OUT 2010: Competed in six meets during the outdoor season, performig the high jump and long jump ... placed third in the high jump at the conference championships. OUT 2009:  Competed in seven meets during the outdoor season ... scored points for the T-Birds at the outdoor conference championships after a fourth-place finish in the men's high jump. 

IN 2011: Competed in five meets during the indoor season, competing in the high jump and long jump ... competed for the Thunderbirds in the Summit League Championship, finishing third in the high jump and fourth in the long jump ... placed first in the high jump at both the UW Invite and NAU Open.  IN 2010: Competed in four meets during the indoor season, performing the high jump and long jump ... tallied points for the T-Birds by placing third in the high jump and sixth in the long jump at the conference championships.  IN 2009:  Competed in four meets during the indoor season ... tied for fourth place in the men's high jump at the indoor conference championships.

Prep:  Three-year letter winner in track and two-year letter winner in basketball at Cottonwood HS ... 2006 region and state high jump champion ... 2007 state long jump champion after a second-place finish in 2006 ... holds the Cottonwood HS record in the long jump.

Personal:  Parents are Christine and Eugene Nelson ... majoring in art illustration and graphic design.
