OUT 2009:  Competed in five meets during the outdoor season ... tallied points for the Thunderbirds in four events at the outdoor conference championships, finishing eighth in the discus and hammer, third in the shot put and second in the javelin ... named all-conference in the javelin and shot put.  IN 2009:  Competed in four meets during the indoor season ... recorded season-best marks of 47-9.75 in the weight throw and 47-6.5 in the shot put.  2008 (OUT): Competed in seven meets during the outdoor season ... finished in the top ten at the outdoor conference championships in the javelin, discus and shot put.  2008 (IN): Did not compete.

Prep:  Three-year letter winner in football, basketball and track & field at Cyprus HS ... 2003 region champion in the javelin and 2004 discus and shot put region champion ... all-state honorable mention in football ... ranked 17th in the nation in the weight throw ... collected all-state honors in track & field as a junior and senior.

Personal:  Parents are S. Dean and Wendy Ledbetter ... married Holly Whiting, member of the SUU women’s track team ... majoring in accounting.
