IN 2013: Competed in two meets during the indoor season, throwing in the shot put and weight throw.

Prep: Prepped at Springville HS, competing in the shot put and discus ... took first in the state in the shot put and second in the discus  ... recorded personal best marks of 55-0 in the shot put and 151-5 in the discus ... went undefeated in the shot put senior year ... named Large School Field Athlete of the Year ... Springville High Male Athlete of the Year ... garnered two varsity letters in track & field.

Personal: Parents are Thurman and Rosemarie Evans ... majoring in exercise science.
