OUT 2009: NCAA West Region qualifier in the men's 4x400-meter relay ... helped the relay team to first place at the conference championships ... competed in seven meets during the season.  IN 2009: Competed in four meets during the indoor season ... finished fifth at the Summit League Indoor Championships in the men's 800-meters and distance medley relay.  XC 2008:  Competed in six meets during the cross country season ... helped the Thunderbirds to the team title at the 2008 Summit League cross country championships.  2008 (OUT):  Competed in eight meets during the outdoor season ... finished sixth in the 800m and the 3,000m steeplechase at the outdoor conference championships.  2008 (IN): Competed in five meets during the indoor season ... top-ten finisher in the mile at the indoor conference championships ... ran in the 800m, mile and DMR.

Prep:  Eight-time letter winner at Mountain View HS ... 800-meter champion at state in 2002 and 2003 ... member of the state champion 4x400-meter relay team in 2003 ... member of 2000 and 2002 national cross country championship teams.

Personal:  Parents are Kirk and Kim Houle ... trade and techology Sterling Scholar at MVHS ... nephew of SUU track coach Eric Houle ... majoring in exercise science ... served an LDS mission to Lisbon, Portugal from 2004-06.
