Ariyana Miranda joins the Southern Utah softball coaching staff for the 2026 season after a standout playing career with the Thunderbirds. A two-year starter at SUU, she closed her senior season hitting .305 with 43 hits, 13 doubles, and 31 RBIs. As a junior, she posted a .310 average and 11 home runs, tying for the fifth-most in a single season in program history.

Before transferring to SUU, Ariyana played at Eastern Kentucky, where she made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2020 with a .320 average, six doubles, six home runs, and 23 RBIs. She went on to appear in 50 games her sophomore season, adding seven home runs and 27 RBIs.

A native of Elk Grove, California, Ariyana was a three-time All-Metro First Team selection at Elk Grove High School. She will work primarily with hitters and infielders at SUU.
