Curtis Livreri hails from Las Vegas and was brought on to the SUU softball coaching staff prior to the beginning of the 2015 academic year.
Livreri has previous coaching experience in both baseball and softball, spending time as an assistant coach at Green Valley High School (1999) and Western High School (2000-2004) in Las Vegas for baseball, before taking a position as an assistant softball coach at Centennial High School (2004-2015). While at Centennial, the team won four State Championships. He is also the founder of Kaboom Batting Academy and KBA Club Softball Teams in Las Vegas.
Livreri played college baseball at Cypress College (1995) and at College of the Desert (1996-1998) before entering the coaching ranks.
Livreri holds a Bachelors of Science in Special Education from UNLV.
He was born and raised in Las Vegas. His sister Maggie is an assistant softball coach at the University of Utah and his brother Michael is the Athletic Director and head softball coach at Centennial High School in Las Vegas.
Livreri is the son to Mike and Kristie, and says he nephews Nick and David are the biggest inspirations in his life.
“I am very passionate about the game of softball and sports in general,” he said. “I am very excited and grateful for the opportunity that coach Gray has given me to work with him and coach Holley Garcia in trying to establish SUU as the premier team in the Big Sky Conference and to become a regular on the National scene.”
