Tracee Hoch returns for her second season as a member of the SUU softball coaching staff. Prior to joining the Thunderbirds, the Ogden, Utah native most recently coached at the University of Utah during the 2007-09 seasons.
As a player, Hoch appeared in 127 games at Brigham Young University, playing second base and totaling more than 250 putouts during her two years in Provo. In addition, Hoch helped lead the Cougars to back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances and earned academic all-conference honors as a senior.
Prior to BYU, Hoch was a two-time all-Region 18 selection at Salt Lake Community College in addition to being named a second-team NJCAA all-American in 2005. While at SLCC, Hoch led the Bruins in home runs during her sophomore season under the tuteledge of current SUU head coach Kyle Magnusson, who was an assistant coach on the SLCC staff.
