Before SUU: Played one year at Salt Lake Community College, helping the Bruins to the NJCAA softball championship tournament ... also helped SLCC to a region championship while earning academic all-region accolades as an individual.

Prep: Four-year letter winner at Taylorsville High School ... helped the Warriors to the 2007 Utah state title and four consecutive region titles ... two-time all-state and all-region honoree ... also lettered in basketball and volleyball.

Personal: Parents are Dave and Lana Gray ... majoring in outdoor recreation.
