Prep: Attended Bethlehem HS, but recorded most of her softball experience at the club level ... led the Saskatoon Lasers to a pair of Bantam Girls Western Canadian championships in 2009 and 2010, earning an individual honor as the top pitcher in 2010 ... also named to the all-star team as a pitcher at the 2009 tournament ... member of team Canada's U16 national team in 2009 ... 2009 Saskatchewan Softball Female Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Parents are Barry Gurski and Corina Poochay ... majoring in communication with an emphasis in journalism.
