MaKaylee began her dance journey at the age of three at The Dancer’s Edge Studio in Roosevelt, Utah. MaKaylee was on the Union High School drill team for all four years in high school, with the leadership roles of Rookie Representative captain her Freshman year, Co-Dance captain her junior year, and Head captain her senior year. Throughout her dance career thus far, MaKaylee has received 21 'Overall Soloist' titles, numerous team awards, many convention dance scholarships, and was the Northeastern Region 'Dance Sterling Scholar' winner for the 2023-2024 school year.

Some fun facts about MaKaylee: she has been choreographing routines for the past five years; was a varsity member of the Union High School golf team for three years; loves KitKats, Reese’s, and anything sweet; is continuing to teach dance at Dance Magic in Cedar; and she has a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix puppy named Zeke. MaKaylee is excited to continue dancing with the Southern Utah dance team this year and can't wait for what the season has in store for her and her team.
