Tia Martin is from Herriman, Utah and is pursuing a degree in Pre-Dietetics. She began dancing at the age of three at Rocky Mountain Dance, where she trained for 15 years. Throughout her training, she earned many overall awards and scholarships and had the opportunity to perform with companies such as Ballet West and Odyssey Dance Theatre. She also was a member of the Mountain Ridge High School Dance Company for 3 years. Her passion for dance has led her to teaching, she hopes to continue sharing her love of dance with future students.

Tia danced with the Southern Utah University Dance Team during the 2023 season before serving an LDS mission. She is excited to return for another year with the dance team and continue her dance career.
