Coach Payne on Maylinn: “Maylinn brings a wealth of collegiate experience and will bring stability and leadership to our back court. We expect her to have a big impact on all three guard positions.”
PRIOR TO SUU: Named the 2012 PacWest Player of the Year after leading the team and ranking among the PacWest’s best in a number of categories...ranked first in the conference and 11th among all Division II players with an 87.5 free throw percentage...among all PacWest players, also ranked second with a 39.8 three-point percentage, third with 16.2 points-per-game and seventh with 75 assists....recorded double-digit scoring in 24-of-26 games, including a career-high 34 point performance while tying the PacWest record with eight three-pointers made ... garnered Daktronics Second-Team West Region honors as one of just two sophomores in the region to be placed on either the first or second teams ... named 2010-11 PacWest All-Conference honorable mention.
PREP: 2009-10 -- Named all-state and all-conference ... averaged 15.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
