Prep: Finished first at the Soldier Hollow Invitational while running for West Jordan HS ... finished 12th in the state at the Utah 5A state cross country championships ... finished in seventh place at state as a member of the 1,600-meter relay team.

Personal: Parents are Alan and Ellen Hills ... majoring in nursing.
