• Prepped at Pine View HS, earning three varsity letters in cross country and four in track & field
• Took first in region in both the 3,200-meters and mile
• Three-time regional cross country champion
• Finished third in the state in cross country
• Holds 3,200-meter and cross country school records at Pine View
• Recorded personal bests of 11:08 in the 3,200-meters and 5:15 in the mile
