Southern Utah University Athletics

In high school, Oglesby won the Utah State 5A individual Championship and was a four-time UHSAA Region champion. After high school, she had a decorated career playing golf for the University of Montana. 

Oglesby earned Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year in 2011 and has the lowest stroke average in school history. Tara won three times while at Montana, and earned Big Sky Player of the Week honors four different times. She was named to the All-Conference team in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and is tied for the lowest round in program history. 

Her amateur career saw a lot of success as well. Multi-time semifinalist at Utah Women's Amateur Championship, and made the cut to advance to match play in Utah Women's Amateur Championship eight times (2010-2017, 2019).
